BIOGRAFIE:
Die Freunde David Macao a.k.a. Qrono und Bruno Avenel a.k.a. Nubi bilden schon 1990 gemeinsam die Crew Futuristiq. Beide sind im 1974 in Paris geboren und dort zusammen in Essonne (91) aufgewachsen. Mitte der 90er ist das Duo immer öfters auf den Bühnen rund um ihr Département zu sehen und 1998 können sie, mit ihrer Teilnahme am zweiten Hostile Hip Hop Sampler, einen grossen Wurf landen. Ihr Track „Napalm“ wird 1999 auch als Single ausgekoppelt und macht Futuristiq landesweit bekannt. Darauf hin signen Nubi & Qrono beim legendären Label Secteur Ä und dort erscheint 2001 ihr Debüt Album „Demain c’est maintenant“. Dafür können sie so große Namen wie Joey Starr als Feature gewinnen und bekommen dementsprechende Aufmerksamkeit. Obwohl Futuristiq bis ins Jahr 2004 Beiträge zu so erfolgreichen Compilations wie Fat Taf abliefert, entschließt sich Qrono seine Karriere an den Nagel zu hängen. Doch vom Ende von Futuristiq lässt sich Nubi nicht unterkriegen und startet eine erfolgreiche Solo Laufbahn.
